All you can see are lights blurring, moving diagonal across your line of vision, there is no noise or sound just a slow building ambient hum. Somewhere out there is the journey's end you know. Walking up the hill near the University on the other side of town losing the night slowly. There are other ways you know. Other signs that point forward. It is not to be right now though. Starting the night not wanting to live and then holding onto life as hard as you can on the bathroom floor of a walkup apartment somewhere in Gros. We will live longer, we will live longer. Bring the sun out, it is hiding. Waves upon waves upon waves into the last of the night. It is just a sliver. We sit on the beach in the ice cold early morning. Bring the sun out.
