Roaming around the room
to find an escape,
I meet your sight, I wryly smile
and look away

and take a breath
and lose myself

in the substance again.

The things I say are always the same,
they don’t make any sense.
I’ve never found the words
but through stories in rhyme
that talk about all the things
that words can’t describe.
I never listen
to what I sing.

so far from land,
inventing tales
again and again.

Maybe that’s why
I would have loved to
lose myself in you,

‘cause there is life
outside of these walls
the view’s spectacular,
but I lose my memories
and all the melodies
that float inside my head.
I’m spinning all over the place,
and hitting every corner,
lost in a pirouette.
