UltraViolet from Crimson by Leprd Print
"UltraViolet" is a protest song that is disguised as a Travis Scott song. The song explores my extreme frustration with our current system, and liberation. The title "UltraViolet" is a play on the idea that black people are "ultra violent". I flipped it because ultraviolet sounds like a superhero instead of the stigma. I mourn the losses of Trayvon Martin and Brenda Taylor through this song and hope for a day without senseless institutional violence.
