Constant Yearning by Evitceles
Evitceles is a Sofia-based artist hitting the scene of the experimental electronic realm since four years now. This is his second full-length, right after his Anuket work released by Seagrave earlier this year.
He has been putting out several EPs on label as Cloud Bank (Life/Less), Noorden (Risingvanity) and the Stephen Bishop’ Opal Tapes (Imperfect Charm). Constant Yearning is a natural extension of the latter, a shadowy path through a personal, internal, struggle and restlessness - as the album title suggests.
The dualism of this struggle is well shown by the ranging from hard beats to ethereal ambient themes, always looking for a balance between the prism of emotions one can experience at once.
