Lekwats hails from the city of Seshego (Polokwane, South Africa) and has been DJing since 2007 and producing since 2010.
Dedicated to finding his own sound, he started experimenting with an array of recorded objects along with collecting and incorporating indigenous African instruments to catalyze an original raw blend.

He’s one of the current restless and unique artists shaping the underground
