River by Leila Naderi
River is Leila Neverland's second back-to-back single released December 1st, 2020. The first of the two singles is Never Give Up, released the day before on November 30th, 2020.
River was written in a hot summer of touring throughout BC and into Alberta, in 2019.
It is about freedom, and the freedom to be.
I want to strengthen the Ecological and Cultural Diversity that exists right here by supporting and listening to the people who know this place best in a time of great need:
50% of River's sales will go toward the Syilx Language House for all that they offer their present and future communities.

I believe in Inclusivity, Accessibilty, and Diversity. And I believe in nourishing my local community. For it is literally the tangible place within which I exist, the place that supports my walking feet, and the place I can personally observe and celebrate.

Through all these current state of affairs, an inclination toward these pillars of social justice are all but going the wayside. Quickly, I might add.
I am humbly grateful to have been offered this song up through this place, up and out for each of us. Gratitude to you for taking this moment.
