Self-propelled imaginary collapse I'll shamble up and repeat.

Like wet paper, swept right by. Pleasure prioritized.

Unimaginable, until now, that I could pluck a moment tucked into terror and tedium - nurture it - and endure the in-between.

Drank into a corner and pushed the whole house with me, head first, day after day - and it felt like I'd just got out from under it.

It's hard to take your own advice.
