Repainted by Le Cygne Noir

I pride myself on making music from scratch with real musicians and avoid using anything AI generated. But where is music creation heading ?
How can we know what is being presented to us? There are AI artists everywhere getting millions of plays these days. Recently, the No.1 record in the billboard charts was AI generated (Walk My Walk) and over 50,000 uploads are being pumped into the streaming system everyday, on Deezer alone. The future of music production is being corrupted by very advanced AI. You no longer need any talent to produce music. My hope is that this will only strengthen live music, an immersive experience which has to be real.
So how good is this AI?
Well, I spent two days uploading 13 tracks I’ve written, of carefully chosen (some songs just didn't sound right to me) Le Cygne Noir songs and started honing in and ‘creating’ these songs. Other than choosing the versions ( and of course writing the songs in the first place), I’ve not played a note, except Killing Time, which was a Mix by me. The skill is in how to explain to AI what you want. I’ve chosen quite ‘epic’ versions, and it’s quite interesting just how bloody good they are. Can you tell ? Repainted will be available for only £1.00 on Bandcamp, because I am racked with guilt and don’t believe this warrants charging full price. If you think it's worth more, that would be welcome :) (as this has taken a lot of time to get together.) It's opened up a whole new world to these songs, re-imagined, re-recorded and re-animated. I hope you enjoy listening to these versions as much as I did creating them. I would really like to know which are your favourite versions. For me, LUNGS and NO RETURN, but I love them all !
