The storm has arisen.. Will it clear as quickly as it arrives?.. Or leave everlasting distortions in its wake?
An album filled with eccentric genre mashing for an unpredictable experience of elegant piano compositions and underground EDM recklessness.
After the core events of Track 2 Anticyclonic Supercell, Track 3 Soothing of the Raven' serves as a moment of bliss after the intial wreckage of the supercell. Past this point, the tracks portray the following disasterous outcomes that settle in from the event.
Track 5 Polygonization VIP, a personal favourite of mine in particular tells possibly the grandest story on the album through a hectic genre crazy narrative of its own. To close off the album, I poured my love into one last send off for the project's journey with Track 9 Interstellar Typhoon, a behemoth of a finale with over 7 minutes of content.
Music video for Track 7 UZUMAKI EXPOSURE is provided on Youtube

Includes Bonus 10th Track consisting of the original mix and structure I came up with for Polygonization 1.5 years before starting work on a Redux to bring out its full creative potential.
Inspired by the Japanese Mangaka 'Junji Ito' and his works of 'UZUMAKI' which tells the story of a town cursed with spirals, the music video for UZUMAKI EXPOSURE includes the repetitive occurrence of spirals in either clear, or subtle ways. Clear examples would be the spiral-like galaxy visuals, and more prominently the leaves on the grass stop-motion which create a full spiral. The ram skull's horns however make a subtle link from their curvature. Aside from the shapes, objects and camera shots are often spinning to emphasise on the motion that would be influenced by descending down a spiral.
Continuing with the subject of spirals, I researched the Golden Ratio, a concept that forms the familiar shape of a spiral and discovered a similar counterpart to the phenomena known as the Fibonacci Sequence which throughout numerous website researches on the matter; turned out to also be used in music by many well renowned classical composers such as Beethoven. From this, I got to apply first hand experience of this practice to my own track which involved revolving the melody around the specific notes that corelate to the sequence in the Fibonacci which is used in 90% of the piano I composed in the track. If you are interested on the matter, I suggest looking online yourself! It's very intriguing.
All samples asides from plugins in the track are recorded by me experimenting with the sounds of a large slightly water contained 'tibetan singing bowl'.
