Lavarr the Starr was born Illusions Ago in USA. He met Ishmael Butler of Shabazz Palaces in 2019 and signed to Butler’s Glass Cane Records label in 2020. His first album Illusions Ago is now available for download and and on vinyl shipping in late march. Don't sleep.

Lavarr The Starr was born an illusion ago in an otherwhere not unlike Chicago or Paris. He hears loudly the vibrations of the past but his music surfs the future waves. A keyboardist and programmer singer rapper in 2020 he was quoted as saying “some of my favorite singers can’t sing but they always all ways sound like love”.
