Breathe by Laura-Beth Salter
Laura-Beth is best known for singing and playing the mandolin in The Shee, Kinnaris Quintet and in her duo with Jenn Butterworth.
'Breathe,' Laura-Beth's debut album,is a collection of mainly self-penned songs and instrumentals illustrating a unique range of influences including Scottish folk, Old-time and American Bluegrass.It was written for a New Voices commission for Celtic Connections.

A vocalist and mandolin player and composer based in Glasgow, Laura-Beth is a member of Kinnaris Quintet, The Shee and The Daddy Naggins. She can most often be seen performing with her long term duo partner, Jenn Butterworth. In 2012 LB was nominated for Scots Trad Composer of The Year for her debut solo album, Breathe.
