Urithi by NOBE

In my EP "Urithi", which means "Legacy" in Swahili, I pay tribute to my father, a percussionist, by sampling one of his drum demos recorded over 10 years ago. A jungle house-inspired EP, a communion between past and present, that immerses us in a percussive, dreamlike and nostalgic trance. It's the rhythms that stand out on this record, with their rare power and exuberance, inviting us to let go.
