Quietly sounds of the ocean start, footsteps on snow and ice approaching oceans where it is cold, take the listeners with them on a journey into the vast soundscapes of oceans on our planet. Between their ears they travel from the Arctic, to glaciers that slowly melt, cracking, dripping, becoming streams and rivers that lead into the deep sea following wales and dolphins, shrimps, corals, into a kelp forest and towards the shore. By boat to shooting geysirs until steam boats disappear in the distance and the listeners are slowly washed ashore.
La Pesch does radio, acoustic narratives, sound and voice art.
She chooses a subjective approach, sets in scene encounters and creates contact points in dialogue. She relies on techniques of collage and a structure that reflects the core message. Her focus are boundaries, transcending and blurring them, the confrontation and meeting of different horizons of experience in a given environment.
