Veldon Variations by Laica
Around a year ago whilst listening to Future Music late one night I was introduced to the music of Elizabeth Veldon, The next day I went through her catalogue on Bandcamp and came across 3 eps all with Broken in the title, I downloaded all 3 and in the coming days an idea came to mind, make a remix of sorts containing elements from all 3 eps.
These are those Broken remixes.
These tracks are un-mastered and probably contain all sorts of audio issues, but that's because they are Broken

In the music of Laica there's a sense of something more concrete having been deliberately and forcibly rubbed away, leaving just a vague impression of a more tangible piece of music. The effect is haunting, the musical equivalent of trying to remember a dream when all that's left is the barest trace outline.
