Sense by LadyLau

About a year ago the idea to write an album about the senses started growing on LadyLau. In her daily practise as therapist, (mental) trainer and coach, she noticed every day again how important it is to be in contact with your senses.

During the writing process, she noticed how difficult it is to split the different sensations, because it was so easy to interpret the senses and ‘colour’ them with own opinions, preconceptions and memories. And even more, big confusion and misinterpretations aroused when the five senses and common ‘sense’ started talking at the same time.

From that confusion the story sets of. The miracle of how people think they understand each other perfectly, whilst talking about completely different things. But it appears that the eyes, ears, nose, taste, smell and feel all tell their own story. If we listen to all five of them and the story they tell together, who knows, we might be able to make real ‘sense’ out of it.
