It’s in my yard. It’s in my mind.
I’d fight, but it’s too hard. I feel confined.

I don’t know know what it is. I don’t know where it’s from.
It whispers day and night, and makes my brain go numb.
It looked so innocent, growing there for weeks.
But there’s something otherworldly about a plant that speaks.

What does it want?
