I'm going through changes
I'm becoming someone I don't want to be
Everything I love is changing
Nothing seems the same to me

Now I have to try harder to love the things that I have loved before
I put in the effort but now I don't think I have much more

And now I'm being pushed
To the ground
With so much force
Holding me down
And when I think
I'm given a break
It just comes back
One hundred times stronger
Than before

I'm going through changes
I don't like myself anymore
Everyone I know is changing
They aren't the same as they were before

I try to tell myself I'm freaking out and I can be happy again
The more false hope I give myself the harder it is to believe again
