Standard tuning of a six string bass.
This song is possibly the quickest piece I have ever written, I did everything in two days except for the final mix and master.
The background on the song is grim, it is written from a perspective that we have all faced which is the mortality of family and friends.
We have all lost someone but this was written after learning of a terminal diagnosis of a family member.
The main bass part is a simple part that I added tension to with a second bass part that I reversed delay on. I am very happy that the result is tension with an underlying uplifting chord progression.
