At the end of the road, I found solace in the woods.
In a little cabin tucked out of the way.
With its crooked floors and crooked walls I think I found the place,
Where I can finally shed the armour for the day.

In the cracked paint of the wooden chair left weathered on the lawn.
I see years of laughter. Years of smiles long gone.
In the driftwood railing I see days spent splashing ‘round the Bay.
Collecting memories of yesterday.

With the lonely red rocking chair by the creek.
The painted rocks tell stories of others come and gone.
