Blue Star from Blue Star by Kortessa
"Blue Star" is the first track of my new project "Kortessa". It represents a call to Kortessa, it is my vote of confidence in her amazing vocal talents and a leap of faith to enter this new music portal.
The song "Blue Star" feels like a power ballad with a nostalgic nod to something of an 80s style instrumentation. It was very refreshing and challenging to work in such a new style of production and I am very happy with the final result. The song feels catchy and if I had to put a label on it, it would be "Space pop".
The Kortessa project will try to defy standard labels and charaterisations but at the same time it will certainly focus on more atmospheric and dreamy soundscapes compared to my other projects.
