Leaving by Shifts
From the original liner notes: "This is the final music work recorded in my studio in Den Haag, while packing to move. No sadness involved, just happiness. 'Leaving' was recorded July 25th 1998, 'At Last' was recorded July 26th 1998. All live with guitar, PMT device and E-bow. Korm Plastics KP 8298"
For once that was true. I didn't mind living in Den Haag, but I was glad to move back to Nijmegen. The record was a lathe cut in an edition of 20 copies. I may have one left to sell. You offer, refuse etc.
Round about that time, 1998, I also thought about playing live concerts as Shifts, and I did a couple of shows. I rehearsed at home. One of those rehearsal pieces was recorded and is added as a bonus (12 minutes). And oh, the cover shown here is not the LP cover. Just in case you are looking for it online somewhere...
