Lyrics
Mist rings pivot round my thin ribs
Drumhide breath climbs steep brittle cliffs
Metal twang shivers within raw hush
I scale the hush like woven rope
Old palms drift above gravel pale fog
Their hush knocks marrow like small gongs
Djembes orbit like eager bold crows
Choir edges grind flint with raw beat
My wrist scrawls sigils on raw air now
Fail once, their circle snaps shut for good
Hoop of elders now spins a flameless blizzard wide
Gust-drunk trumpets churn marrow awake from grey sleep
I trade my doubt for strobing tremor right here
Hammers of chant bruise sullen granite till sparks bleed
Grey ceiling bends; I dive throat-first through grit
Choir tongues twine, knotting ash into shimmer
Cadence races, ribs rattle like ferrous nets
Either I ring true or the mist devours me
Hoop loosens, casting brass dust over wrists
Elders fade, yet their stamp drums inside grain
I descend, notes twirl like pale ember moths
Each breath remembers their gravel swirl hymn
Gravel hush carries fresh rhythm to roots
Exile melts — new kin graze my woven chord
