道 by 呼吸

呼吸は、2021年7月に東京にて結成。

「言語から遠く、記憶に近いもの」をコンセプトに、世界を旅しながら音楽を紡ぐ。
2023年3月、インド・バラナシとチャンディーガルでライブを実施。その後、インド最北のラダック、スリランカを旅し、その記憶をもとに本EPを制作。

旅路（＝道）を人生になぞらえ、
故郷を離れ祈りと共に生きる道、
日本の原風景にある舟の通り道、
雨季を活き活きと駆けるスリランカの道──
さまざまな情景を曲に吹き込んだ作品。


Kokyu was formed in Tokyo in July 2021.

With the concept of “something distant from language, yet close to memory,” we create music while traveling the world.

In March 2023, we performed live in Varanasi and Chandigarh, India. Afterward, we journeyed through Ladakh in the far north of India and across Sri Lanka, and this EP was born from those memories.

The road of travel became a metaphor for the road of life:
– leaving one’s home and walking with prayer,
– waterways that echo the landscapes of Japan,
– vibrant paths running through Sri Lanka’s monsoon season—
each track captures a different scene from these journeys.

2021年夏、廣瀬美紀（h-shallows/ex-Smokebees）と高野伸吾により結成。言語から遠く、記憶に近い音を紡ぐ。
