Rustles branches leaves above
More than a mind can contain
Sound of little creatures
The the hint of something that remains

Eyes crack and blinding light
Saturated synapses like a blow to my face
Grabbing . . . face. . . heaving. . . . above . . . ground . . dearth and air mix fresh air

Once more eyes burn but desire so much stronger
Curiosity of this new world of all the potential long delayed
