K.K. Rampage’s latest release, featuring tracks like “Oversexed Mosquito,” “Nite Prowler,” and “Human Paste,” sees a return from former member 555-Mele alongside E.M. Danziger and Johnny Rampage. This is truly a relentless barrage of noise collage that feels like an auditory descent into madness. Channeling the chaotic spirit of bands like SPK, Negativland, Throbbing Gristle, and Nurse With Wound, the album pulsates with deranged energy, blending warped industrial noise and drugged-out soundscapes into something disturbingly raw and primal.

“Oversexed Mosquito” sets the tone, with U.S.Maple sounding guitars alongside feedback and screeches that might as well be the soundtrack to a fever dream under the influence of LSD and Ketamine. Following this, “Nite Prowler” slithers through schizophrenic synths pulsating, a creeping sense of dread oozing from every twisted, lo-fi sound. The track “Human Paste” feels like a disjointed mess of jazz rhythm, where broken samples and fractured vocals evoke the fractured mind of someone teetering on the edge of reality.

Tracks like “Fuck Off” and “Dicksnack” feel inspired by a blend of rage and playful defiance, with the latter’s remix providing an unsettling yet hypnotic loop of glitchy repetition. K.K. Rampage’s work here isn't just noise for the sake of noise—it’s the embodiment of poverty-induced spite, tapping into the psyche of the mentally deranged, a swirling black hole of borderline personality disorder, all while capturing the mischievous demon in every one of us.

If you’ve ever wondered what the Butthole Surfers and Wolf Eyes might sound like if they were trapped in a collapsing warehouse full of broken synthesizers and mushroom-induced visions, images of Christ bleeding out in a trash heap, this is it. K.K. Rampage has once again produced something that revels in its own insanity—loud, unapologetic, and disturbingly captivating.
