An acoustic band at heart, Kinvala is a genre-bending four-piece with a sound that’s hard to define. Blending intricate guitar parts, expressive vocals and percussive elements, their songs range from mellow to rhythmic to heavy to jazzy to dancy to "how the heck do you describe this one?" It’s hard to know what ‘box’ they belong in. It’s acoustic music Jim, but not as we know it.
