Kinvala's self-titled debut is an eclectic catalogue of songs that reflects the band’s diverse influences and musical inspirations. Blending intricate guitar parts, expressive vocals and percussive elements, their songs range from mellow to rhythmic to heavy to jazzy to dancy to "how the heck do you describe this one?" The music is melodic and complex; their lyrics explore topics like time and consequence, love and loss, nature and humanity.
The album is entirely self-written, recorded and produced by the band. Everything you hear has been created organically and Kinvala's creative approach to songwriting means you never quite know what to expect.
