Sodom from Prelude by KINGS LONE
Sodom is about deep, unending boredom with life and crushing loneliness. The reference to the city Sodom from the Bible is a metaphor for the corruption or depravity of the mind if left alone for too long. It also vaguely describes the effects of trauma, feeling the need to isolate oneself after a traumatic experience, but being so entrapped in your own mind that life itself feels boring and grey. It’s a cry for help to be let out of the mental or physical restraints that one can find themself in, but unable to break free from the comfort of boredom. Sometimes living a dull life null of experience or pleasure sounds more appetizing than the risk of being hurt again.
