Dried Blood is another song covering abuse, specifically sexual abuse. The lyrics are about an abuser unknowingly causing harm to their victims. I wrote this song as a cry to be seen, to be understood for the pain I endured during my time with my abuser. “Cure it between my thighs” is a line specifically alluding to the idea that intimacy can fix your problems, even though it can subconsciously degrade one’s mental health if you’re not in the right mental state. Bleeding is used as a metaphor to describe the feeling of being hurt or used by means of intimacy.
