Direct X takes influence from the original Xbox, both in look and in sound. Groundbreaking, sleek, otherworldly, futuristic, fierce; all can be used to describe the album. It’s a reflection of the past, as well as a prediction for the future of sound. Also inspired by older material put out by labels like Renegade Hardware, Virus, and RAM Records.
