rewilding by kinda alright

there is a place where the trees writhe and weave with the flora to form castles. here there live four neckromancers who hide shaded from the world at large.

there is one named niloc. he is a brutish being, his hair bleached by the sun and his skin marked with scars from the boulders and mountains he climbs. visitors of the forest claim to have seen him flailing around in a drunken rage battering rudimentary percussion instruments with the branches from the writhing trees.

then there is newo. he is silent. his fingers, spider like in appearance, crawl across the neck of a six stringed instrument vaguely resembling a guitar. dexterous he conjures harmonies that charm and enthrall the flora. his rhythms off set in time, have made the trees shiver and the mountains shake. some say they've seen the petals of carnivorous plants bloom as he walks through the forest playing his instrument.

the youngest one is named haon. his youth grants him a welcoming disposition that charms the visitors. he carries a large 4 stringed log that when played feels as if the sound comes from the ground itself. carefree he wanders the forest with a small pipe in his mouth. the smoke smells vaguely of cannabis. it is said that on certain nights you can spot him down near the water trying to capture cephalopods to make one of his favorite snacks: takoyaki.

the last one is named etan. he is the fool amongst them. many days visitors claim to hear his cackling echo off the branches and boulders of the forest. a master of transmutation and concealment few have seen his true face and form. driven by rage he rips lightning from the sky and hurls spears of melody at all who pass through the forest. he worships a giant obsidian obelisk in the center of the forest that he claims will grant him immortality.
