Gently from New Moult by Queenie
I wrote gently after watching a whole load of super 8 footage my grandfather took when he and my grandma, mum and aunty all moved to Woomera in SA in the early 60’s. It was about arriving from a foreign country into a vast desert land and feeling out of place, like an intruder but wanting to grow older and exist gently in such an incredible place.
