Settle In by kevin schlereth
These songs have been shaping me and guiding me through a story for the last year. They've shown me areas in my life in which trust and rest come easy as well as those marked by unsettledness. They've invited me into vulnerability and on numerous occasions, in spite of myself, I've taken them up on the invite.
Here, I'm reminded that Settling In is communal. When God institutes rest, he calls his people collectively to it. And the people only fully respond to said call when they do so together.
And so, will you Settle In with me? Will you embody the spirit of these songs by practicing peace and contentment? Will you cease from striving and take joy in the work set before you each day? Will you pry loose your fingers from your treasures and regrets and feel your muscles relax? Will you make sweetness for friends and strangers as you practice resting in trust?
I just know the end result will be better the more that we've Settled In together.

Settle In was recorded in May of 2025 at the Eaden Ballroom in Grants Pass, OR, as well as Evan's Office in Medford, OR.
Kevin wrote the songs, co-produced, and sings and plays a few instruments
