I have been spending all my days
simply withering away
I wouldn't say I'm doing nothing
but I'm certainly not doing something
my friend he said I'd be ok
because the end is among us
he said the preachers they are not coming
he's got blue hair and he is a drummer

and I heard that I was trying to die
so I took myself to the other side
and I said, oh that's not true
but I think when you try and hide
everything that's inside your mind
you become a different you

I woke up so damn late today
thinking this was a mistake
I am not looking for any pity
this is something I carry with me
my friend she said I'd be alright
you just need to get through these nights
she said it's hopefully done coming
she's got tattoos and she lives in the summer
