Songlarking by Andrew Walton
Released for Netlabel Day 2023, this 6-track folk EP starts with the jaunty original song "Mudlarking", and then digs down through the layers of time, revealing ever older traditional songs: "Joe Hill", "Bella Ciao", "When The Boat Comes In", "Diggers Song" and "Westron Wind". Andrew Walton handles the lead vocals and a bit of percussion/kazoo; Andy Brain & Caroline Vile help with arrangements and accompaniment.
