Ken Henkel ia s graduate of SUNY Stony Brook where he earned a BA in music performance, studying trumpet with Ronald Anderson. He has performed with various chamber and symphonic ensembles, including The Cross Island Brass, of which he was a founding member, The Atlantic Wind Symphony, and the Massapequa Philharmonic. His compositional studies include working with Kent Marks and Herb Deutsch.
