The Lake from Buck Again by Kelli Shay Hix
Kelli Shay Hix is an archivist, filmmaker, visual artist, and musician born and raised in the Great Lakes region of the Midwest, now residing in Washington, DC. While her fingerpicking style recalls early American rural traditions, her music is more experimental than folk. Hix has also been multi-instrumentalist, string arranger, and co-songwriter in the bands LYLAS, Forrest Bride, and Styches.
