Print.Through by KR
Print.Through comprises four tape dreams, and a bonus track with an uninterrupted 'pasture' mix of the four parts for a seamless dream listen.
It is the inner landscape of tape echoes in a feedback loop; magnetic tape, and spring reverb dancing with each other. The original source was a single sine wave recording of a 'D' note in the western scale. The search was to find how much complexity could be wrought from one note; sound-on-sound, and magnetic tape's capacities for change.
The tracks have been mastered from the analogue tapes and as such contain the textures, fidelities, and beguiling 'imperfections' of the medium.
Listen softly and deeply in pastures of sound folding into itself - chaos born and reborn each moment.
