Corporeal shells scorned
Adapting to the purging Sun
Whilst feathers borrow free falls
Unworthy scales weigh our heart of hearts
Is there temperance in reason?
Or just glib majesty?
Mirrors reflecting a self reducing machine

A christ of tangibles
In an era of extremes
A void that calls you inward
Whilst the body intercedes

O, forever how I've wished to be razed to ruins
Only in the end to be exalted and rise again

It's as if all that was ever created would vanish
