Bloom by Katie Ferrara

Bloom is a song about breaking free from the roles that others places on us and reclaiming the confidence to live life on our own terms. For much of my life, I felt that people tried to fit me into a version of myself that felt comfortable to them--whether it was the quiet friend who tagged along or someone who didn't speak up. In my younger years I used to shrink however these days I am unlearning much detrimental conditioning. I learned that true freedom comes from choosing environments where I can truly thrive and surrounding myself with people who uplift and support me.

Traveling and living life on my own terms has helped me reclaim my voice, my power and my sense of self. Bloom is a reflection of that journey. It is about standing tall, breaking free and embracing your worth.
