Well this sounds nothing like the album I was trying to make - I was trying to go back to basics with one of my early-style fuzzy keys and dying gtr manifestations. But anyway, this might've inadvertently turned into a much better thing than planned. Or it might not. I can tell that it's the sort of thing that really really needs to be played very loudly. And if it wasn't late at night (by my standards) and if the windows weren't all open on this hot evening, then maybe I'd give it a fair hearing. As it is, I must wait till one day weeks away when I am drunk once more and I really think that this'll sound pretty good.

Yes, a few mins later and indeed my considered advice is "play loud, or not at all" - and judging from the stats lately I think I know which of those options will be the more popular.
