On paper this is a winner - echo-y beats and nice strange slow keys. But inside the ears it's maybe not quite so great. However, it takes as much work to make a bad album as a good one (the way I make them) - and maybe I might grow to like this more than I currently do - which is a little and certainly far from zero. And maybe you'll like this anyway. This might be your totally adored absolute favourite Kathy Eastman thing ever. At this peaceful unbothered level of the musical anthill it only takes one person to like something out of the blue for the stats to go ballistic and me to be able to tell my friends that I can feel huge fame is just around the corner, waiting to pounce and take me off to where the real musicians live and have their weird smug injokey giggling conversations - a world I wouldn't feel comfortable in, but which I guess I'd have to get used to it as the price for fitting-in, such a very important thing.
