Yet another of my """minimal techno""" thingies - this one starts off very unpromisingly, but after a few minutes it starts to fall into place and becomes one of the really good ones. I think.

Yesterday I walked over to Harbour Lights to watch Supernova - I don't usually read reviews of films, I find them distracting and always far too optimistic - film reviewers are nearly as bonkers and wrong as record/album/music reviewers. But a film abut two grumpy middle-aged blokes going round the Lake District in a camper van can't go wrong can it - and of course it did.
As soon as I saw the "B" and the "B" and the "C" spinning around at the start of the film I knew it'd be another sentimental predictable lump of gloop - and though Colin and Stanley both act very well, it was all an underwhelming experience.
Oh well. Like everything else lately as we come out of lockdown, things aren't proving as much fun as I remember. Going to the cinema on my own in the afternoon and sitting in an empty building watching a quiet film - it used to be so good, even when the film was so bad.
Now, when this new exciting world should be so overwhelming to us as we step out into it, well I seem to be thoroughly underwhelmed all the time. Maybe when I start going to gigs again things will get thrilling at last. Ha ha hark at me - I must be going mad.
