Etwa 72 Milliarden Landtiere und 1,2 Billionen Meerestiere werden jedes Jahr für den menschlichen Konsum getötet. Beschämend ist diese Zahl besonders im Hinblick auf die Verzichtbarkeit tierischer Produkte - unnötigerweise und in ausbeuterischer Grausamkeit von fühlenden und leidenden Lebewesen genommen.
Diese Ungerechtigkeit muss ein Ende finden.
