Sometimes melancholic, often dark, but always danceable – that's the sound Kalpetrane are chasing. Inspired by bands like Talking Heads, L’Impératrice and Nu Genea, the group has developed its own Disco- and New Wave-infused sound: Trying to find their own way within the possibilities these genres offer, Kalpetrane combine Funk-grooves with overdriven guitars, spacey synths, and memorable hooks.
