Sacrifice by Vordb
'Sacrifice' is a piece for piano solo composed and recorded in 1991 or 1992 (I am not sure exactly). It was a homage to 'The Rite of Spring', the masterpiece of Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) which was an artistic shock for me as a young musician, and in particular its transcription for piano solo by Vladimir Leyetchkiss (1934-2016). To my knowledge, this version of 'Sacrifice' is the only one I have in my archives, so although it is imperfect, I have decided to release it as a testimony of what I could compose my early days as Vordb...
