Hiroshi Watanabe, better known as Kaito, returns to the forefront of the ambient music scene with his latest EP, Summer Mood. As one of Japan’s most revered electronic musicians, with a career spanning over two decades, Kaito continues to refine his craft, delivering a soothing and introspective sonic experience. Following the success of his acclaimed album Collection, which explored themes of resilience during the pandemic, this new EP delves deeper into the meditative qualities of ambient music.
Opening with “Summer Mood (iF edit)”, the EP captures the essence of tranquility, with ambient textures interwoven with subtle neo-classical elements. The track evokes a sense of nostalgia and serenity, setting the tone for the calm and reflective atmosphere of the release.
