Rodan by Kaiju Daisenso

"Rodan" is Kaiju Daisenso's contribution to the Sunken Temple Records / Tokyo Fist Records 2021 joint release, "A Piece of the (B)east: A Long Island / NYC Music Family Compilation". "Rodan" was originally co-written by Matt Gordon when he was a member of the former LIHC band, The State Secedes. The kaiju-adjacent themes (adapted here to more directly pay homage to the many incarnations of Rodan) made it the perfect cover choice for Matt to revisit with Kaiju Daisenso, along with Matt's former Helen of Troy bandmate, Sunken Temple Records head (and The State Secedes super-fan), Matt Messina on additional vocals.
