"Us" is a song we wrote after being inspired by one of our pre-marital counseling meetings. One of our pastors who did the counseling discussed several valuable themes with her and me, and one was the concept of "us." Basically, when God joins you together in marriage, it's no longer you and you, but us...and that means in everything. If one is struggling with something, both are. It's really a beautiful, and God-orchestrated concept that works perfectly when both submit to the Lord's will and lay down their own selfishness. Justin loves entertaining, making people laugh, and quality time spent with others (especially his wife and family)—but most of all, he hopes to communicate that he's no better than anyone else and that the Lord is the only one worthy of worship and glory.
