Although the titles for these works refer to natural themes, their compositional impetus did not originally stem from this imagery. Our process began in a state of play/experimentation, focusing on our immediate sensory experience. We later reattributed these artistic activities to our outer experience of the world, which informed and inspired the final performances of these works.
